What is a course unlock?+
One unlock opens the full course for one episode, one study language, and one CEFR level. If the course is not ready yet, AI generation is included in the same unlock.
What if a course is already prepared?+
The same rule applies: one unlock opens the course for your account. Once unlocked, you can replay it as often as you like without spending another unlock.
Do subtitles use AI or course unlocks?+
Basic subtitles use the tracks supplied by Netflix, so they need no AI and never use a course unlock. Dual subtitles are also AI-free when both tracks are available.
Does each fluency level count separately?+
Yes. A course is built specifically for your selected level, from A0 to C2. Unlocking the same episode at another level uses another unlock because the teaching material changes.
What about movies and long episodes?+
One unlock covers up to 60 minutes of course material. Longer titles use another unlock for each additional 60-minute section, so most movies use two or three.
What if generation fails?+
The unlock is returned automatically. Monthly unlocks do not roll over, but courses you successfully unlock remain available for replay.
